At The Close Of The Day (2000) – The title comes from a beautiful poem by Walt Whitman “When I Heard At The Close Of The Day”. It was incorporated into my full evening piece “Leaves of Grass”. The vocal version is called “Longing”, with lyrics by Norma Winstone.
